“We dance for laughter, we dance for tears, we dance for madness, we dance for fears, we dance for hopes, we dance for screams, we are the dancers, we create the dreams.”

- Albert Einstein -

Drawing inspiration from human creativity, my work creates meaningful things and tells stories that lie at the intersection of art, design, education, and HCI.

I am a UX Consultant & Research Associate at the Department of Computer Science, University of California, Davis, where I work with Professor Hao-Chuan Wang in the Collaborative and Social Computing (CSC) Lab.

I earned my Ph.D. in Learning and Mind Sciences from UC Davis in 2022, where I conducted HCI and educational VR research in the Visualization & Interface Design Innovation (VIDI) Lab under the guidance of Prof. Kwan-Liu Ma and also explored instructional design for ed-tech products at Information and Educational Technology (IET). Before this, I obtained my M.F.A. in Digital Arts and my M.S. in HCI from Iowa State University. I also worked on teaching, acrylic and digital art, learning experience/UX/UI design, and marketing research in the United States and China.
